Recent Instagrams {+ 5 skincare products}

Does anyone else feel that March is going by extremely fast? I have been meaning to post these recent instagram photos for some time now, but time has escaped me! Before I do however, I have been receiving a lot of comments and emails asking what my beauty routine consists of. I thought I would share just a few of my skincare essentials!



1. Nivea Daily Lotion, $5.99 - This lotion is a miracle worker and such an amazing price! It has been a staple in my cabinet for years. One summer I had a very bad sunburn, and my skin started peeling embarrassingly. I probably tried 10 different lotions and figured there was nothing I could do about it, until I tried this. It literally erased almost all signs of peeling, and now my summers are secure and free from dry skin. It also leaves my skin shiny and silky. Ah, love this so much.

2. Mor Cosmetics Emporium Body Butter in Belladonna, $25 - This body butter is luxurious and thick for long-lasting soft and smooth skin. It also smells like springtime which fills my senses with warmth and comfort!

3. Dior Capture Totale Intensive Night Restorative Rich Creme, $145 - My skin feels amazing after using this, bright and luminous. It helps reduce signs of aging and leaves skin soft and radiant.

4. Ren Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil, $48 - This is amazing...it nourishes skin and relieves stress with rose oil, palmarosa oil and geranium oil. Relaxing and soothing.

5. Vaseline, $3.39 - Good ol' fashion vaseline is my go-to lip care essential product. It is beyond affordable and always leaves my lips soft and primed for lipstick.

PLEATS + STRIPES

Hello readers, I'm back from my weekend girl trip to the OC and we had an amazing time! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend as well. I recently got this amazing black and white striped pleated skirt from Oasap and I couldn't be more in love. This chic and girly piece was just the skirt I was looking for -- with pretty pleats, a feminine shape, and a classic black and white color combination. I absolutely love the material with a bit of a shine, and overall thick and durable structure. This skirt is just a great piece to have, and something that I think my wardrobe needed. I even think that I could wear it to an upscale event by pairing it with a bustier top and some sky-high peep-toes! For a preppy vibe, I paired it with Ralph Lauren and some pointed kitten heels to keep it simple....mixed in a little pop of bright orange and my Shop Belina Arabella Swarovski ring for a little sparkle! To tie in the black, I wore my amazing Pree Brulée Tokyo crystal necklace that I am absolutely obsessed with by the way. The vintage-inspired Quilted Bobble Lock clutch is also from Oasap which you might remember previously seeing with my chevron tights in this post and is still available!
